High-Capacity Storage

Storage Servers

Dense, high-capacity dedicated servers purpose-built for backup targets, media archives, object stores, surveillance footage, and large-scale data lakes. From 12-bay 2U configurations to 60-bay top-loaders, built on enterprise SAS and SATA drives with hardware RAID and full IPMI remote management.

Mixed SSD + HDD tiering available on request. All storage servers include 10G public network ports, /29 IPv4 allocation, IPv6 support, and hardware support by ticket. Deployed from our Ogden Utah and Los Angeles datacenters with N+1 power.

Two Storage Tiers

Performance or capacity — pick your axis

Storage workloads split into two camps. We build for both. NVMe when you need speed, HDD when you need scale.

Performance Tier

NVMe Storage

PCIe 4.0 and 5.0 NVMe drives with exceptional IOPS and throughput. Built for databases, AI training datasets, render farms, and any workload where storage is the bottleneck.

14,500 MB/s

Sequential Read

Up to 3M IOPS

Random IOPS

Capacity Tier

HDD Storage

Enterprise SAS or SATA drives in dense chassis configurations. Optimized for backups, media archives, surveillance footage, and long-term retention where $/TB economics matter most.

Applications

What people actually run on storage servers

Two storage profiles, two sets of workloads. The split below mirrors how customers actually buy — performance-bound on the left, capacity-bound on the right.

NVMe — performance workloads

Database Servers

PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB. Reduce query times and increase concurrency with sub-millisecond latency on every read.

AI Training Datasets

Eliminate the storage bottleneck during data loading. Keep GPUs saturated instead of waiting on disk I/O between epochs.

Video Editing & Render

Edit 8K RAW with real-time playback. Multiple high-bitrate streams concurrently, no proxy workflow required.

HDD — capacity workloads

Backup & Archive

Multi-petabyte capacity for system backups, snapshots, and disaster recovery images at the lowest $/TB available.

Surveillance Retention

Record high-resolution camera footage from hundreds of streams. Compliance-grade retention spanning months or years.

Document Repositories

Host massive content management systems, legal discovery databases, and enterprise archives at scale.

Technology Comparison

NVMe vs HDD, side by side

When to reach for high-performance NVMe versus high-capacity HDD. The headline numbers below cover most decisions — your workload pattern fills in the rest.

Service Boundary

What we run, what you run

Storage servers are unmanaged. We provide the hardware, the network, and the hands. RAID, filesystems, and software stack are yours to configure and tune — exactly how serious storage operators want it.

Customer-Managed RAID & Filesystem

NVMe servers ship with soft-RAID/JBOD; HDD servers include hardware RAID controllers or JBOD mode. Pick your RAID level, filesystem (ZFS, BTRFS, XFS, EXT4), and tuning. Unmanaged service — configuration is your responsibility.

Hot-Swap Drives & IPMI Access

All chassis support hot-swappable drive bays — replace failed drives with zero downtime. IPMI/BMC out-of-band access for remote KVM, power control, and firmware updates.

Hardware Support by Ticket

Facilities staffed around the clock across LA, Ogden, Manhattan, Staten Island, and Dallas. Full SMART data is available through your OS, so you can set alerting thresholds that match your workload. Open a ticket for hardware-level issues and it goes straight to our techs.

Multi-Petabyte Deployments

Need something the inventory doesn't cover?

Custom drive counts, multi-chassis JBOD arrays, ZFS pools across 60+ bays, hot-spare configurations — our storage team designs to spec. Quotes within one business day.
